It’s turkey time!
I remember our family’s first Thanksgiving in Switzerland. We could not find a turkey on time and ended up with 2 or 3 roasted chickens from a local food truck. Since then we have taken our turkey search seriously.
I have been told that Migros is selling frozen turkeys, but I have not seen it myself – only online. Apparently you can also pre-order a turkey at a fresh poultry counter of Manor. However, I prefer to support a small business and have a bio product.
So, for the past 2 years, I have ordered turkeys from a local farmer and was very happy: self-pick up anytime, easy to order by phone (even a small 4 kg ones are available) but most importantly it was delicious!
