Curious to learn more about my Nescens Cure Reset experience? Follow along my journey on Day 2 for all the details!
After a restful night in the spacious and comfortable bed, I woke up eager to explore more of the program’s offerings.
08:30 Balanced Breakfast in the Room
The day began with a nourishing breakfast delivered right to my room—fresh, perfectly balanced scrambled eggs, half an avocado, and water “Eau de Quinton” that I wrote about on Day 1.
09:00 Breathing Session
I never imagined I could learn something new from a breathing session, but I was so wrong! Taught by a scuba diving champion, this session improved my breathing techniques, leaving me feeling strong and relaxed.
Tip: Opt for comfortable clothes; sports attire isn’t necessary.
10:00 Neurofeedback Session
I was thrilled to experience neurofeedback for the first time! Connected to an amplifier, I could watch how different parts of my brain function in real-time. The session included an analysis of how my brain responds to stress and insights into my personality traits. Spoiler alert: I already knew I was the creative type, but seeing it proven scientifically was next-level exciting!
Tip: Skip washing your hair in the morning, as your head will be marked with cream for cable placement.
12:00 Balanced Lunch at Restaurant L’Escapade
The culinary experience at L’Escapade never fails to impress. Here’s what I had:
- Starter: White and red lacto-fermented cabbage salad with herb vinaigrette and smoked haddock.
- Main Course: Lamb confit, chickpea galette, autumn vegetables, and a creamy cashew-based labneh.
- Dessert: I was so full that I asked to bring my dessert with my dinner.
14:00 Signature Nescens Massage
If I had to sum up this massage, it would be: “OMG, amazing!” This was hands-down the best massage I’ve ever had—a perfect blend of relaxation and deep-tissue techniques.
15:00 Regenerating Session with the Redustim
Next up, I had my first fat reduction treatment with the Redustim. This non-invasive therapy targets stubborn visceral fat linked to metabolic and cardiovascular health issues. As a bonus, it also aids in sculpting body shape, boosts the circulatory and lymphatic systems, reduces bloating, and enhances overall wellness.
I wore comfortable clothing and was provided with a pair of cloth pants to wear under a specialized suit connected to the Redustim device. With relaxing music playing through my headphones, I truly enjoyed this unique experience.
16:00 Energizing Photobiomodulation Session
Photobiomodulation uses specific wavelengths of red and infrared light to penetrate the skin and stimulate mitochondrial activity. This process enhances energy production at the cellular level, reduces oxidative stress, accelerates cellular repair and regeneration, improves skin health, and boosts the immune system. It also reduces inflammation and pain, accelerates wound healing, and is beneficial for muscle recovery.
Good to know: The therapy lasts 15 minutes, with the best results typically visible after 10 sessions. It can be performed 1-2 times daily, though the frequency varies depending on individual needs. The session takes place in a closed room, and it is recommended to wear minimal clothing to maximize skin exposure.
16:15 Hyperbaric Chamber Session
This was another unprecedented experience—not only because I lay in a capsule that looks like a spaceship but also because I couldn’t believe the results after just one session!
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy involves breathing pure oxygen in a pressurized chamber. During the session, I lay down in a chamber where the atmospheric pressure was raised to two to three times higher than normal. This increased pressure allows the lungs to absorb more oxygen, supporting tissue repair, reducing inflammation, boosting cardiovascular health, and promoting cell regeneration and immune function. Even weeks later, the benefits were undeniable, and everyone kept asking me what my secret was!
Good to know: The treatment lasts 60 minutes, so wear something comfortable. After the session, I felt so energized that it was hard to fall asleep, but two chamomile teas in the room helped =)
19:00 Dinner in the room
- The day ended with a delicious dinner brought straight to my room:
- Starter: Cream of coral lentil soup with coconut milk and fresh turmeric
- Main Course: Butternut squash and ricotta ravioli, pine nuts, and reduced juice
- Dessert: Floating island with coconut milk
