Nashville is the heart of country music. You could easily spend a whole weekend honky-tonking on Broadway and listening to live music. This itinerary is prepared for those who do not know much about country music and honky tonk on Broadway.
Day 1. Friday night
FGL House – a laid-back southern restaurant with rustic decor, outdoor patio seating, and live music. A place where Bavarian pretzels, Polish pierogi, and Nashville chicken bites meet on the menu! The perfect place to start absorbing country culture.
Kids Rock’s Honky Tonk is also always loud and lively! It is one of Nashville’s famous bars, restaurants, live music venues, and the biggest honky tonk! This place is huge and very touristic, so you will easily blend in.
Day 2. Saturday
Grab a bite at Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row – a country gastropub in a historic 3-story building with rooftop access.
Next up is Miranda Lambert’s Casa Rosa which is one of my favorite places on Broadway! It is a cool Tex-Mex bar & cantina with live bands and a rooftop patio. The atmosphere and the bands were so good that we spent the whole afternoon there. Next time I would definitely try their restaurant as the smells were so good! Also, take the opportunity and buy a cool t-shirt at their shop. And don’t forget to take some pics at the photo wall!
The last stop for the day is Luke’s 32 Bridge – a spacious destination offering 4 band stages, cocktails, American eats, and a rooftop patio. It was very busy but definitely worth visiting!
Day 3. Sunday
Visit Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar. It is a cool-looking saloon on 4 levels with live music, TV sports, a gift shop & a rooftop bar!
I think three days will not be enough to visit all the cool places on Broadway but these were the highlights of my trip.
