How to unleash your talent

Do you know who ruled Spain when Cervantes began working on his novel Don Quixote? Or who was the director of the Imperial Theater in the Russian Empire when the premiere of The Nutcracker took place?

I think these questions help us understand that defining moments in history are not necessarily determined by your position, but by your passion and talent!

“Popularity is all too often confused with significance.”

S. Arango

I think that many of us have searched for prestigious jobs and even applied without thinking too much about it. Decent salary and perceived status motivates us so much that we overlook opportunities where we can truly shine and make an impact on the world.

The point I’m making is that we need to start with GIVING our talents and passions back to the world – and the world, in turn, will give back to you.

Lack of purpose can be a major point of stress in our lives, so listen to the call of your heart and take responsibility when making decisions for yourself!

Does this mean you need to give up your job to be happy?  No!  There are lots of ways to explore your passions in order to make an impact on the world while still providing for yourself and your loved ones.

P.S.

who was the director of the Imperial Theater in the Russian Empire when the premiere of The Nutcracker took place? Ivan Alexandrovich Vsevolozhsky
